Do I get National AP Scholar?

Just wondering, if I took AP exams during my senior year, do I get awards after I graduated?

"National AP Scholar: Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams"

I took 12 exams (6 junior, 6 senior) and got all 5s, but I don't know where to check if I got this award. Collegeboard just says: "2012 Awards: AP Scholar with Distinction". Nothing for 2013.

I just want to write this on various applications, and I think that every little bit could count.

Thanks for any responses.

Yes, you will get the notification some time. If I am remembering correctly, it is in the fall. You will be able to use that on your r

It is an academic honor, 4kidsdad. Why wouldn’t you? Once kids start college, most of the high school accomplishments go away and resumes are a bit thin. This one is given to most kids after they graduate from high school because it is a fairly difficult one to get.

Getting into college is not the end of your career or life. It is nice to have any award put on your resume.
