<p>Has anyone heard anything from FSU about it? I know we were supposed to find out if we received one of the $6k per year scholarships (there are 25, but more than 25 people who qualify) sometime this month. I kinda need to find out soon since this pretty much determines where I'm going to school and other schools have quickly approaching confirmation deadlines..</p>
<p>I was under the impression that RD reply deadline was May 1 nationwide. Is that incorrect?</p>

<p>^^ So there are scholarships that have acceptance deadlines that are BEFORE the May 1 RD decision deadline? That seems odd to me.</p>
<p>I’m actually kind of nervous now. I sent my certificate (copy) in as soon as I got it in early February. I was told to just send it to the admissions office and they’d add it to my profile. I just emailed Mrs Mann today to ask about it, and she said she didn’t receive it because I didn’t ATN: her… (no one told me to do that). So I just scanned a copy and emailed it to her only to hear the news that there are more than 25 people “ahead” of me although I had called to confirm and had sent my certificate in over a month ago… I might actually have to go to UF if I don’t get it =/</p>

<p>My scholarship on the status check just changed from the $9,600 to $24,000 one. :D</p>
<p>woah congrats. I wasn’t aware there was one. what is the $24,000 one called?</p>
<p>It’s for National Merit/Achievement/Hispanic finalists. It’s a good thing too because the official National Merit scholarship is only $2000 or $2500.</p>

Haha I’m stuck with the $9,600 one. Oh well, I’m looking forward to seeing my financial aid reward status as well.</p>
