<p>Somewhere in the piles of mail you received this year, you received a post card. If you can find the postcard (I am chuckling as I type–sorry), you can send it in to make the change. If you can’t find it, call NM or go online to find out the address to send the change. The published deadline is probably around this time of year, but you can change it into the summer, which would accommodate students who are waitlisted. You just need to make sure NM has the right school if your child is getting $$ because you want them the send the check to the right school. I would put in a smiley face if I knew how.</p>
<p>The hard deadline is May 1st. The priority deadline that some colleges encourage you to meet is already past–March 1st. We are still looking at two colleges with this issue in view. Other colleges in consideration don’t offer the college-sponsored scholarships, so that the choice doesn’t matter.</p>
