Is it possible to get both the college sponsored National Merit Scholarship (Half Tuition) plus the Trustee Scholarship (full tuition)? or add the National Merit plus the Presidential (half tuition) for full tuition? Thanks!

I believe that's not the case. From what I remember, the Trustee and Presidential Scholarships overwrite all other scholarships in a certain category, NMF being included. You can get other scholarships and USC-based and outside-based financial aid, but I don't think you can add the two together.

Ok, thanks! And another question I have is, "Are there scholarships that will pay for costs other than school tuition, such as dorm and food cost, because those cost a lot as well?" Thanks!

ppenguin757 is correct-

From the USC Scholarship website:
[quote]
Trustee, Presidential, Leadership, Deans, Directors, and Associates Scholarships
These scholarships are mutually exclusive. If you are awarded more than one of these scholarships you will receive only the one with the greatest value.

As far as funds for books, board, or other educational expenses, you can look at some available grants here:
USC Financial Aid - Grants & Scholarships - Undergraduate - New and Continuing Student: Need-Based Grants

Others may be able to give you advice on other sources or you can do a search to find other threads where this has been discussed.

Good luck!

As an extra special surprise, some of the Trustee and Presidential (and NMF Presidential) kids found they also were awarded a University Scholarship. More $$! Not sure how they decide who receives those, but it was a lovely bonus.

Chance me please? Thanks!
