<p>so i received a letter from the National Society of High School Scholars in the mail today asking me to join their society. It claims to only recruit top academic students with over 3.5 gpa.</p>

<p>I dont mind paying the membership fee. i just want to know whether faxing in this invitation to Penn would help me in any way in the application process this late in the game.</p>

<p>has anyone received this invitation? is this legit? does it help at all in college admissions??</p>
