National Society of High School Scholars

so i received a letter from the National Society of High School Scholars in the mail today asking me to join their society. It claims to only recruit top academic students with over 3.5 gpa.

I dont mind paying the membership fee. i just want to know whether faxing in this invitation to the schools i've applied to would help me in any way in the application process this late in the game.

has anyone received this invitation? is this legit? does it help at all in college admissions??

please please please help :D:D:D:D

Not even worth mentioning on your application. In fact, faxing the invitation to an admissions office would make you look incredibly naive (no offence intended). They send out an invitation to basically anyone with over a 3.5 GPA who checked the box on the SAT allowing communication from “talent search” organizations. I myself signed up for this back in the day and got absolutely nothing out of it but a cheap medal not even worth the membership fee.
