<p>I just got one of these letters today. I'm not exactly sure what its for, is it a scam or not, or even why I qualified for it.</p>

<p>It could be a beneficial experience for you but the qualification standards are not rigorous and makes a negligible difference in admissions. Not really worth the money.</p>

<p>For the handful of schools where ECs matter, they’ve seen all the resume padding/fluff many times over.
