<p>My school uses Naviance for teacher and counselor recommendations. I already know how to assign recommenders, but my counselor gave a lecture to my grade saying that we should send her a physical copy of the link to write our recommendations. I have searched all over the website, and I cannot find any link to send to the recommenders. I thought that once we assigned the recommenders, the teachers and counselor would receive the link to write the letters through an email. I don't understand why she's telling us to print out the link and give it to her so she can file it. I don't see any link to do so. Can anybody clear this up for me?</p>
<p>Once you assign the teachers’ and advisor’s names, you are done. It is up to Naviance to contact them. The only exception is if you are applying with an independent Arts Supplement and that supplement needs to be mailed to the school separate from the Common App. Then, you will need to have the art director/teacher’s letter mailed separately. If they hand it to you, sealed, so that you can put it in your package… all the better. </p>
<p>I would email Naviance the question directly to make sure your school has the correct emails for the teachers. Maybe there is an error in the system. Best to solve it now before deadlines approach.</p>
