NBC Internship Program

I am wondering if anyone here on this board has applied to the NBC internship. If so, were you rejected or were you accepted? What did you get to do? If you were rejected, what are you stats and why do you think you were rejected?

I applied but I am very unsure if I am going to get in.

I also am thinking of applying to an internship in London in the Film industry. However this is through a suspicious website and am worried about not getting my money worth for applying.

I was too late to apply for the Working Title internship, a real shame, and hear that the competition was stiff.

I am NOT a film major, I am a philosophy major with a real (and secret) interest in going into the film industry.

Any help and/or suggestions would be wonderful and much appreciated!

I applied for the business, programming, and development departments of the NBC Internship Program. I'm a sophomore at Emory with relevant work experience and good grades/extracurriculars.

The people at NBC Campus Relations had me do a preliminary interview and a second, more in-depth and targeted interview (both over phone), but I haven't heard anything back yet. They said there were a ridiculous amount of applicants for each department. Good luck.

my daughter sent her resume to several networks ( is a tv production major )
heard nothing, so far from NBC. got an offer from a small, independant company in NYC.
Now the networks are contacting her...a little sore subject

I think the networks are overwhelmed right now because I don't know anyone who has heard back from them. I applied to NBC (and a couple others) and still haven't heard. But I have an interview for a smaller nyc company on Monday.

Just be patient.
