Hi guys! I was recently accepted to NC State and I visited for the WISE Spend-A-Day. I’m really struggling to decide between two schools: George Mason and NCSU. My big question is about research opportunities at NCSU. GMU is very close to DC and I was admitted to the Honors College so I know internships and other research opportunities are abundant there, however I like the overall environment of NCSU better than that of GMU. I am trying to figure out if there are a lot of research opportunities in the field of microbiology and other health/medicine related fields because that is the only thing holding me back from being wholeheartedly NCSU. Anything helps, thoughts please!!!
