NCSA/UofM/Rutgers

I auditioned for the following three schools as a transfer student. Does anybody know when the U of M callbacks go out. I heard that its this coming week but I cant be sure of it.

Also, as far as the other two schools go, (U)NCSA and Rutgers, does anybody know when they tend to send out letters/phone calls.

On UMN, all I have heard is "mid-February".

I am from minneapolis and a couple of my friends who auditioned back on january 9-11 received notice of a callback earlier this week... Maybe it they received it so soon though because they auditioned early and are from the area.. Best wishes!

Do you know how they received the notice? Mail, email, phone call?

Does anyone know how they do the callbacks? Like if it is a time thing. I had my audition early february... I thought it went incredibly well and they seemed impressed by the Purchase credential.

They have a call back weekend - I think about 50-60 students are invited back. They told us it was scheduled the first weekend in March. It is not required but highly encouraged.

They also said that if you could not attend, you could send a DVD of your monologues.

Im aware of that... Im just getting slightly nervous due to mixed reports. One of my company members called U of M today and they said we'd know within the next week. But apparently some have already been called back. I'm just not sure how it works.

I am not a big fan of waiting. But Im going to keep my chin up.

I received notification of my callback via phone call Wednesday night, they said we needed to have a response back to them by Tuesday the 17th. So I'd venture to say there probably won't be many more calls made after that date but I could be wrong.

Moviebuff - I agree on waiting! Minnesota is my D's #1 choice and we are waiting on pins and needles to hear. Given that they are making calls and we haven't heard, I'm feeling pretty pessimistic. She auditioned in MN on Jan 11 and felt really good about it . . . but one never knows.

Fantastic. When was your audition? Im sure that doesnt matter. Im just attempting to live in a world of false hopes. Healthy? No. Convenient? Yes.

Waiting is good. I'm just praying to God that SUNY Purchase will be completely behind me as of next year. NCSA is my #1 but I really loved my auditors at U of M.

Moviebuff: Not to be too nosy . . . but what was the deal with Purchase?

I auditioned for them Feb 4th in Chicago. But last year, I had a friend that didn't get a phone call for a callback until 4 or 5 days after my other friends did and they all auditioned at the same time. So who knows.

he-art: Thanks for the update - makes me feel a bit better. I guess it will be an anxious weekend at our house.

thanks so much... holding out hope. oh what fun.
