Hey guys,

So if anyone has applied or is applying to ncssm can you give me some tips about my essays? One of the main things I want to know is if it is okay if I talk about the same activities in more than 1 essay.

It is definitely okay. These are probably not the actual prompts, and not necessarily the most appropriate responses, but just as an example - say you do breakdancing. If one essay asks what you do for fun and the other asks you to give an example of a time when you experienced a significant challenge, you can probably write both that you like breakdancing and had trouble with a disability that prevented you from breakdancing.
Just don’t do it excessively. For example, if you do wrestling and write about it in every essay, then it’ll probably confuse or annoy the admissions officers. Make sure your responses are an accurate reflection of you as a person; also make sure to express your interest in science and math somewhere, as that’s what NCSSM is about.
Are the two of you applying to NCSSM?
