If I remember correctly from when I applied, you had to have an app in that included reccomendations, take a test or something like that at you area’s info day at the campus, then you get compared to the averages from you county/school district and your test scores among all the people who applied. I think they also do a online class now so if you dont get in the ones who live on campus you will still have a chance to get in. Good luck on getting accepted, I wish I had went instead of staying at my current high school.

Do you remember anything that may have significantly improved your chances?

I currently go here and I could definitely say you don’t have to be a genius although a lot of people are. Your essay is definitely influential and make sure you have something that makes you unique. They love volunteering so the more you do it, the better and just keep your grades up (preferably A’s).Goodluck and I hope you get in!!
