@dandelionz did you email admissions letting them know you accepted your seat? If so did they respond?

Does anyone have any opinions about the Prague trip? It sounds like a great opportunity, but they return only four days before classes begin, it seems a little close. Do they stay in hostels?
@DesignMom2022 They stay in a dorm styled hostel called the Zeitraum and get to pick their roommates. It is very nice, just like a dorm at NCSU and not anything like the hostel images that pop up in our heads. There is a large community kitchen with individual lockers for storage of their personal cooking items. The Zeitraum is across the river and in the more urban district of Prague 7. My D has been enjoying Prague and the 3 day weekends they get. The program is not very forthcoming with information and really only communicates to the students per privacy regulations. If you are going to go, be diligent with processing your VISA, passport and all documents ASAP and add tracking to everything. Several students this current term had issues with delayed documents and had to go to DC to get things processed over the holidays. They also have students book the airline tickets and airport transfer to the lodging themselves.
Since NCSU took over the Prague program from the College of Design just this past summer, there have been many changes and I believe they are tweaking things as they are going. The lack of communication to the parents and last minute deadlines have been frustrating for us, but the program is very good.

Has anyone received a scholarship or merit award? My son filled out the scholarship application, but it was two weeks past the priority date. Still hoping for some $$$

Also, we are confused by the Math Placement test. My daughter didn’t do well on the test, however, she did very well on her AP Calculus test (she won’t receive the grade until July) and pulled an A for the course this semester in High School.
Should she register for the class that the Math Placement test recommends or assume she may get course credit from her AP Calculus test?
My daughter is a Freshman in the ID program, and was told she could register this Monday (June 4th). They also said that she has already been enrolled in several courses by the program.
