NCSU College of Design 2023

I think around 10-15 minutes but not completely sure

@Grey11 - I believe @ToddinRaleigh was referring to UNC Charlotte interviewing for Architecture not NCSU interviewing in Charlotte.

FWIW: Architecture is the favored child at the College of Design

Has anyone who attended the Interview Day heard anything?

Interviewed but haven’t heard anything. Was told that decisions would be submitted to admissions mid Feb to late Feb.

thank you!

My daughter interviewed for Art & Design in Jan and was accepted today!

has anyone else heard anything?

What did your daughter apply for? @mcdaytx

never mind, just realized you already said it

Congrats! Was she notified via wofpaw portal or some other way?

My daughter got in this morning to Art + Design 2023 via email and wolfpaw portal . She interviewed in January

what day were the art+design students interviewed?

@Grey11 She interviewed on Jan. 19. She did not receive an e-mail but was checking her wolfpaw account yesterday and the acceptance letter was there.

Thanks, I interviewed the same day for architecture but still haven’t heard anything.

@Grey11 Architecture probably hasn’t finished their admission decisions yet

Daughter got accepted to Art + Design yesterday afternoon via email and wolf paw

Has anyone that interviewed for Industrial Design or Architecture heard anything?

My daughter intereviewed in Jan. 19th for Architecture and received an email/acceptance letter on Feb. 14th!

@gdncsu23 Hi! I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I’m over here stressing about getting into the COD @ NCSU and wanted to get in touch with you to maybe get some advice or even look at your portfolio :). I’m mainly nervous because I didn’t know until recently that I wanted to go into Graphic Design, thus I don’t have much Graphic Design to show. I have spent a lot of time drawing, and I have learned some HTML & CSS over the summer on my own, and I’m working to gain experience in preparation for submitting a portfolio. As far as applying for general admission, I would technically be considered a transfer student. Right now, I’m at ECU and came in with 31 credits from a mixture of AP testing and dual enrollment. My ACT was a 32, and my SAT was a 1320 (680 R&W, 640 M). I had a 4.2 weighted & maybe a 3.7 unweighted. I was involved in a number of clubs, including the Vice President of my high school’s National BETA Club, completed over 100 volunteer hours and worked at the YMCA for 2 years. I’ve never been a big STEM person, that’s why I was never interested in NCSU until I decided on Graphic Design. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated because I am STRESSING.
