NCSU Fall 2017 Transfer Chances

@qhenderson1 Can you share that link where you got that post?

@gbrl10 Most definitely, and congrats to you all! https://admissions.ncsu.edu/newsletter/2017/04/07/fall-2017-transfer-admit-stats/

Where do you view decisions?

Thanks! I’m accepted but 99% sure I’m choosing unc. I don’t see them matching unc’s aid package I received.

Lol @KendraScholar let them know so they’ll save a spot for me after my spring grades!!

@transferpack97 will do! I hope you get in!

@ncstudent77 Did you not meet the minimum requirements?

Financial Aid isn’t out yet, is it? I’m not sure how to view it if it is.

I didn’t have physics or chemistry  @gbrl10

@ncstudent77 That makes a lot more sense. I was wondering why you didn’t get in with a 3.6, but not having the minimum requirements makes it near to impossible to get in.

@heyitme did you apply your first time as a transfer student or as a senior in high school

@PStransfer1842 As a transfer student with 60 credits the first one, second time with 70 credits ,but I got a 4.0 Which included A’s in physics 2 and differential equation. I worked so hard because ncsu was my only viable option for further education. I’m 100% positive that giving my 100% in fall 2016 put me over this time. Sorry I’m at work stocking shelves lol , that’s why took so long to respond.

@heyitme that gives me some hope. I didn’t get in this time as a transfer student but I’ll be applying for spring 2018 and hopefully I’ll get in then!

definitely, get A’s in fall and apply again !

DH accepted - 3.25, History, 70+ hours, Wake Tech

how many people do they take off the “pending for spring grades?”

@martintrevor Depends on your major. I hope they have a spot for me June 15th. So late in the summer.

I have a question. If I apply around January of 2018 and taking physics second semester (spring 2018), do they know that? Or will it be like I didn’t take physics at all?

@ncstudent77 if you apply while you are taking the required physics you will be eligible for admission. So you can apply while taking the required physics the same semester.
