NCSU v. UGA for Animal Science/Biology

does anyone know how the animal science and biology departments are at UGA and NCSU. Both look like great schools but at this point, UGA is winning by a little because of its food and dorms. I like that NCSU is in Raleigh, which is close to the city life and UGA is also near Atlanta. A lot of the things are very similar so i hav come down to two more factors to consider:

the experience for an african american female
the quality of the animal science and biology departments

can anyone help me?

Are you instate for either UGA or NCSU?

My niece just decided on NC State and is OOS minority. She is also a Bio major in CALS. We discussed being a minority on campus and have visited. Have you done that? Everyone was super friendly while we were there and she really liked it. I visited with her and was super impressed with CALS program and the support they give to students. Coincidently, during the student panel ALL the students for the Q&A were minorities and while I know they are paid ambassadors, they seemed to genuinely love their time at State. The main theme was get involved in activities that interest you.

Keep us updated, if you decide to attend maybe you can connect with her on campus. Good luck with your decision.
