ND and Me??

So basically these are my rough stats. I've never done a chances post before so it might be kind of incomplete, but here's the most impt. info:
Oh, and I'm going to be a senior this year, and will most likely take the Oct. SAT again even though I would def. prefer otherwise!

-Female
-Atl, GA
-Private Catholic HS (1000+students)
-SAT: (taken twice already) 740CR, 690M, 710W
-school doesn't rank, but def. top 10-5% of class (about 250)
-Principal's List (Academic Avg. of 95+%) each semester so far
-9 AP's by end of Sr year: W.Hist(3), US.Hist(5), Eng.Comp(5) Bio(4), CalcAB(3), Stat., USGov., Econ, Eng Lit.
-National Honor Society- treasurer
-Student Council Rep - 9,11,12
-Newspaper -10,11,12: Editor this year
-Cheerleading - 9,10
-Cross Country - 11,12
-Coached Middle School Cheerleading Squad - 11,12
-Member of Ronald McDonald House Teen Board (volunteer) - 9,10,11,12
-Also attended ND Summer Program on Arch. this past summer

Thanks for doing this, I really appreciate it!!

Looks like a pretty impressive record--I'd say very good chances esp since you attended the ND Summer Program. You might mention it in the app and any professors you were impressed with during that program. I def think it helped son when he applied!

The volunteer work will stand out, though perhaps not enough to cancel that 2140. If you improve that score to something above 2200 and send in a well-written essay, I would think that your chances would be fairly decent. AL's comments seem solid. Even if you get a 2400 though, don't be overconfident. The essay counts for more than the SAT, and ND can and does reject perfect scores.
