How much are season tickets for students? Also, I'm under the impression that students are able to purchase games for up to two games for their families? What other opportunities do students have to get tickets? I'm pretty much a hometown hero now that I'm going to ND and EVERYONE is asking if i can get them tickets.

season tickets for football...ahh yes. To be blunt there is a wonderfully convoluted system used in the assignment of football tickets. The first step is one recieves their football ticket lottery number form - freshman year and every year subsequently these were distributd in dorm by RA's, but someone said that now it is being done differently for Frosh. You then have to go over to the ticket window and get a lottery number. One lottery number is drawn at the is the starting point for the lottery. And then seating is done based off the lottery order. (Ex if the lottery number for undergrads is 2300, then 2300 is the first one and it will go upwards until you reach the highest number and then loop to the lowest. So 2299 is the last number to choose.

I remember price was around $120 for season tickets my freshman year. What were they this past year, $180 I think? I never bought them after Freshman year, I worked for the University during the games, got in for free...

I realize this isn't perhaps the most clear I will think about a better way to phrase the above post to make it a little more clear...

Nemo, I'm assuming everyone is guaranteed to have season tickets?

The way it works is that the student rate is half that of the normal rate. Last season it was around $130.

Everyone is guaranteed tickets for football, yes. Also, there are two parent games and I think you are able to buy up to 4 tickets for each of those games, or you can trade with another family and get up to 8 for one game. Another option is before each game the alumni have a ticket sale where you can purchase tickets if you are a student, faculty or alumni...handy but you have to wait until the day of the game. If you need tickets, I have found that talking to your local ND club is usually the best way to go. I hope that helps some.
