For the natural sciences on the Pre-med track, which would you choose?
Notre Dame and Georgetown are private U peers, and while Michigan is the state school apple to their private school orange, I think its comprehensive academic quality makes it their equal overall. So – these are three choices of the same overall quality, IMO.
This is all about cost and fit: academic, environmental, social.
Cost difference? Remember that medical school is expensive, and BA/BS job prospects in science, especially biology, are not necessarily well paid.
Those schools are equal in a majority of folks’ minds I would think, and definitely in med school admission chances (as are most schools). Pick based upon cost/affordability and where the student prefers since happier students are more likely to do well.
I don’t know how easy/hard it is to physically access medical stuff (for volunteering, research, shadowing, job in health care, etc.) from ND and Gtown campuses. I’d rate it as “very easy” at Michigan, as the medical campus basically sits between Central and North campus.
