Nebraska or LSU?

I am trying to pick my college. I have narrowed it down to LSU and Nebraska. I'm OOS for both and got aid to both. Any input?

LSU. I’m LA native so I’m biased but people in LA tend to treat LSU kids like Gods. I get a lot of “Well you got into Tulane so you have a decent shot of getting into LSU”

I am a huge LSU fan and I’m leaning that way, but Nebraska e-mailed me and made it sound that they really wanted me to attend. I think I’m going LSU

I’ve heard LSU tends to weed out people. So make sure to study hard. Besides LSU is right by a lot of areas that will be amazing for community service, research etc. We had a guy from LSU come to our school the other day and he was cool, was a researcher that studied aquatic robots and stuff.

The only thing that is making me question is that Nebraska is 40th and LSU is 67th in national rankings

If you plan to go on to grad school then you will be fine with a slightly less prestigious university. The spots between 40th and 67th aren’t bad.

Yea, so I’m thinking LSU. I have until May 1 to pick

You mean 40th and 67th in national rankings of public schools. Neither of them are anywhere near those numbers in overall rankings.

Go to LSU.

Rjkofnovi I’m sure everyone here knew that.

I would go to Nebraska. Anyway you can visit both.

Vociferous,

Why would you go to Nebraska? Any input on the school?

Emory. Not everyone on CC is a regular reader here. I just made the comment so there was no confusion by a newbie.

I should have made that a little more clear, sorry about that.

Oh ok I just thought you were being snobbish lol. Sorry.

I will PM you zman.

Okay, thanks
