Necessity of 4 years of Spanish

<p>This is my first thread or post for that matter and I was just wondering how important is doing 4 years of Spanish if you want to go to a highly selective university, and if the college happens to have a core program does the necessity change? </p>

<p>Obviously it can be any foreign language, not just Spanish. They want three or four years of the same language. You won’t be rejected for having three years instead of four.</p>
