hey guys Im taking my act tommorow, and I need help...I need at least a 20 overall composite score. Give me some tips and tricks on how I can achieve that score

Um...did you study? It's a little late to be requesting help the day before the test.

well I studied for two months for the sat and I ended up getting the same score....I did the whole blue book...my sat scores were: M: 500..CR:450...W:450.....Will I get the 20?

Take a practice test or two. I know there is one you can download for free on the ACT website. Studying the day before isn't the best option, but it can't hurt.

Besides practice, the best thing you can do for yourself is to relax and get a good night's sleep. Stress and anxiety will only make taking the test harder.

I have studied for the ACT the night before and seen my score improve.

what did you do the night before the act that helped a lot? was it review practice tests, formulas, or strategies or something?
thanks :)

since I only need a 20,21 in reading...should I take my time on the two to three passages or be quick and do them all

do them all. you cant lose points for guessing

I did about two hours of review. I took a practice math test, reviewed basic formulae, and did a few science questions too. My composite went from a 29 to a 31, with math going from a 27 to a 29. I don't know how little or how much the studying helped.
