Need advice about a teacher, please help

I had to take a class called multicultural health care before getting into my nursing program. I took it last fall and what I heard was that it was supposed to be super easy and everyone had gotten a 4.0 so I gladly took the class. When it started the teacher was unorganized and didnt seem to know what to do. She used someone elses syllabus and didnt tell us anything about the grading scale or what she was looking for. At the end of the class I got a 2.0! I didnt even see how this was possible, I was there everyday, got almost every point there was and participated all the time. So I added up my total points on Blackboard and total points possible and I should of gotten a 93%, theres no way that was a 2.0. So I emailed her a few times, she never replied, then I called up to the school and they said they would have her call me. A little while later she did and I tried to explain to her why I was confused but she said that unless you averaged an 85% or higher on the quizes and tests, you didnt get any points for them, isnt that a bit unfair? Plus she did not explain that at all in the class, is there anything I can do about it? Can I go to the Dean or something, anything? Please help.

My advice would be to contact the dean of her department. I think it is unfair too, but sometimes there is nothing you can do. All you really can do is try to make a good case in front of the dean and head of her department. Be polite, well prepared, honest and don’t belittle the teacher just because she was bad. Stand your ground solely on the class and how unfair the curriculum and layout was, not how bad the teacher was. That’s my advice anyway.
