Need Advice For College Credit

Hi,
I was dual-enrolled in Spanish 3 and Spanish 4 my sophomore and junior year of high school at a local community college. However, I did not realize that I needed to re-register for the spring term so I only have credits for the fall terms of both classes. Now that I’m applying to UC’s and CSU’s, do I need to include these credits? What do I do? Please help.

Yes you need to include them on your applications to both UC/CSU’s. Unlike high school, these are typically one semester classes at the college/community college level. Are you sure you did not fully complete Spanish 3 and 4?? If your major has a foreign language requirement, this level of Spanish will likely meet that requirement so definitely report it and get your transfer credit.

I did complete Spanish 3 and 4 at my high school, but I only enrolled for those classes at my community college for the fall terms of each year (since I didn’t realize I had to re-register in the spring). So should I report it as only one semester of college credit per year on my application?

Or does every year of high school Spanish equal one term of college Spanish? I’m thoroughly confused.

1 semester college course = 1 year HS course
