Here are my scores:

SATI: 800M 710CR 800WR
SATII: 800 USH 770 MathIIC 800 Bio (PREDICTED)

So my questions are:

1) Should I re-take MathIIC for the 800, given the context of my scores? I mean, 770 is good but it's 81st percentile...

2) Should I self-study World History over the summer and test in October? It's a big commitment but I'd be confident about the 800. However, I already have USH and I don't know whether it's necessary to take another social science. On the plus side, I am planning on majoring in Economics.

World History is only offered in December and June since so few students take it.

I would retake the Math if you think you can get an 800. 770 is a good score, but if you can do better (and it probably wouldn’t take much more study to get it to an 800), go for it. I am International Relations major and I’m thinking about taking the World History in December, but it’s discouraging to know that I will only have one shot to take it.

Economics? Ya, retake it although a 770 is a really high score (like a perfect). Where are you applying to though? Do you need a world since you already have 3 scores? I’m not really sure…

Okay you’re right, so I guess I can’t/won’t take WH then since the test is too far from now.

As for Math2, will colleges look down on me if I submit the 770?

Your scores are excellent, so no. 770 is very good for any school. However, your app can never be strong enough.

Someone in a previous post said something like this, “770 is like an 800 in an Ivy’s eyes.”
