SAT II Subject Tests

I read a thread here where someone asked if taking multiple SAT IIs would be to a student's advantage, and everyone answered in the negative, but I just read a thread here where most encouraged the parent to send her daughter's other scores.

Here's my situation:

I have 3 SAT IIs right now: 770 Bio E (ugh), 800 MIIC, and 800 World. I'm debating whether or not to take US History this June. I'm willing to do it if it can boost my app next fall.
I also have a 800 in Chinese, but it's pretty pointless considering my ethnicity. I also have a 730 in Math IIC the first time, but I retook it for an 800 (see above).

Two questions:
1. Would taking USH and scoring relatively well (750-800) boost my application, or would it not even be looked at? Will Harvard (and other schools of its caliber, like Yale, Stanford, and Princeton) simply take the top 3 SATII scores and drop the rest without looking at them?
2. If there's any chance I do poorly on the USH SATII, can I block that score, in addition to the 730 in MathIIC?

Thanks

My advice is that your time would be better spent on other components of your application. Your SAT II scores are already good enough for Harvard. Getting a USH score >770 will not get you an acceptance nor will not taking taking the test cause you to be rejected.

Good luck.

Hmmmm okay. Just out of curiosity though - why do I see on some chance threads where people have taken, like, seven SAT IIs and gotten 750+ on almost all? Is there any reason to do that if schools just take the top 3 SATIIs and drop the rest?
