Need advice

I got a 32 composite score on my ACT Plus Writing
M: 33
E: 33
R: 35
W: 33 with 11 on essay
But my SCIENCE SCORE DXXXXX IS A FREAKIN' 27!!

I'm applying to NYU, UChicago, Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Yale, and Stanford.

I really want to improve my Science score even just by two digits but the only way I can do that is to take February test.

I know Harvard and UChicago take them while Yale does too but with a warning. I also know Columbia and Stanford don't take Feb ACT scores. I can't find any info on NYU or Brown on ACT.

So should I retake for the science? My science skills have always been weak (got my B in chemistry H one semester). This time without the writing section I mean...

And also if I do decide to retake it and my scores are lower for other sections but science section improves, will that hurt me? meaning should I take the risk haha

And just FYI: My intended major is business with poli sci as backup... will this change things or no?

wait nvm. I decided not to retake it.

But do you think my Science score will hurt me a lot for these colleges? I am not interested in any major with science. I’m more into the liberal arts area with political science and international studies (depends on which college) and only business that will require math and maybe science???

Yes; a low science score drops your composite. It will hurt a little.

hmmm… then should I retake the test and rush score to the colleges that will accept them?I will send what I have now… i mean it’s a decent score. I wasn’t too sad when I got it.
