<p>Another thing you might want to consider is where you want to practice medicine. From what I've read from various sources, it is extremely difficult for a IMG to practice in Canada. There are only a handful of training places available for foreign doctors in Canada. I've heard that it's easier for an IMG to get licensed in the US, or at least in comparison to Canada.</p>
