Was fired from my job. If I put on my college apps, will they call my employer and find out, which would be incredibly detrimental to my chances? Should I not put it on and have them risk finding out anyways in a more susicious manner since they have my SSN for finaid and can look through my employment record? WHAT SHOULD I DO!?

Help please!!!

Why you got fired might be important. That is for you to decide. If you are a highschool student and list that you worked at XYZ from June - Sept, I doubt anyone would question it. They would assume it was a summer job or too much job to handle during the school year.

Anyone else?

This issue comes under the heading of you pays your money and you takes your chances. That having been said, I find it hard to believe that colleges actually cross check the applications for admission with financial aid applications and then call any missing employers for references. If it were me, I just wouldn't mention the job on the application. (Is there actually a place where you are required to list prior employment?)
