Need Answer ASAP till 5pm today !!! Please help

I was deferred from the uni I wanted to go to, but after I sent them a letter they decided to give me a chance and start either in the Spring or the Summer term.
The thing is that if I want to start this Summer I have to leave today in order to take my placement exams during the weekend. I'll also have to go to their orientation this tuesday. My prom is on thursday and I have afterprom on friday (along w my graduation on sunday) so I think that if I go there to take my exams and go to their orientation I'll have to skip wed-friday.

My other option is to start school in the spring term, but isn't it bad to start late ? WHAT ARE THE CONS?

Please. I need some advice what should I do

There will be other students who start spring term. I've been a college prof, and have seen students who started spring term get friends and get involved into organizations. Typically the way that people make friends in college is via organizations. Organizations will be looking for new members spring semester.

I don't think it's worth it for you to miss your prom and graduation in order to start college summer semester.

I won't miss my prom and graduation, I'll just fly back but I'll miss 3 days of college (wednesday, thursday and friday)

Orientation is this tueday.
I have a physics regents this wednesday, but I'll try to take it later.

I agree with Northstarmom. I think rushing to do all of this is a mistake. Spring term will be fine.

bump.........

Why rush? For spring term, you will have more time to prepare. Summer term is too near. You got stuff to buy and you definitely don't want to miss your first week of college. 3 days is a lot.

I can try to miss 2 days, instead of 3.
What are the pros and the cons of starting late in the Spring ?

i have 2 more hours to make the decision
Can someone give me the CONS of starting late in the spring?

I tried to check on google but I didn't get much info

There really are no CONS to starting in the spring.

You get to enjoy your summer, and possibly find a job for the fall so you have cash for your books in the spring.

Good luck with your decision!

Let them know that you will accept their offer to start in Spring, and that you would also be very interested in starting in the Fall if an opening comes up, and check every two weeks during the summer. (Try to become aquainted with someone in the admissions office who you can talk to each time--they will get to know you and may try to pull some strings if they see how serious you are). I'm sure that students change their minds over the summer, and a Fall spot might just open up. Ask if you can attend a summer orientation just in case--that way you'll be all ready to go if one becomes available.
