<p>There have been a number of posts seeking colleges that provide need based financial aid to international students. Here is an excerpt from Lafayette College's website. Lafayette is a well-respected liberal arts and engineering school in eastern PA, about 1.5 hours west of NY City.</p>
<p>"Lafayette meets the full demonstrated financial need of international students through a combination of loan, job, and grant aid. The awarding of aid is extremely competitive, and may impact the admission decision.</p>
<p>Priority consideration will be given to international students who submit the PROFILE by
Dec. 15. Financial aid applications for international students will be accepted, however, until
Jan. 1.</p>
<p>Lafayette prefers students submit the PROFILE online but will accept the International Student Financial Aid Application."</p>
