need based financial aid + merit

Hi, I saw that i got into CMU MCS online but I have not received the mail yet. My EFC is 0. How much need-based aid should i expect? My financial aid from case western is about 53k and RPI is about 43k, Should i expect the same from CMU?

Also can someone explain the matching process. How do i let CMU know my offers from other schools?

I’d also like to know the matching process…

My EFC was a little over 20k. And they gave me a 40k fin aid package. (30k in grants) and only 5500 of that 40k is federal loans. (3500 Subsidized)

Man I’m happy.

I think BlizzBlazer’s package is probably standard. My daughter’s is similar:
$2,800 work-study
$3,500 subsidized loan
$2,000 unsubsidized loan
the rest a grant

Although the letter doesn’t show our EFC, the difference between COA and her package is very close to what our EFC is (haven’t seen the “real” EFC for private school, but I have a pretty good idea what it is), so it looks like they’re meeting her full need with the above package.
