need help and advice!!!

okay so this my first time here and I am looking to transfer Could let me know what my chances are for getting into engineering at : Brown, Cornell, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, UMichigan, JHU, Lehigh or RPI based on my stats (I'll be apply for sophomore status)

High School:
GPA: 3.7 uw kind of a decreasing trend- worse senior year than freshman year :(
SATs: 1290/1890 (I know they are bad but will they be that important in transfer admissions??)
Lots of extracurriculars (not necessarily related to engineering though)
Part-time job

College: (I'm at a flagship suny school)
GPA: 3.95 (for first semester)
Extracurriculars: Two engineering clubs, an engineering award, dean's list, and still have my part-time job, and captain of a sports team (not affiliated with the school)

Hooks: legacy at Cornell
maybe being a girl going into engineering counts as a hook

Thank you for your help and if you have any suggestions let me know!!

cornell engineering takes very few students each year. your grades are strong, so apply to all of the schools you mentioned, but don’t be surprised if you get more rejection letters than acceptances. engineering programs usually don’t take a lot of transfers.

also, you may want to consider waiting another year since you said you finished HS worse than when you started.
