Need Help ASAP! IU(Kelley) vs UMich(Ross)

Ok, so I have to pick between UMich and IU in about two days so I am panicking a little. Any insight would be great!

Basic Info
I got into the direct admit/pre admit business programs at both schools
Umich has better fin aid for this year (full tuition), but only $15000 is renewable scholarships while $28000 is scholarships for IU (so basically iu’s tution is more stable)

IU
Both my sisters go to IU ( this is a pro not a con) and one is at Kelley and loves it
I have visited IU but not UMich (cuz my sisters go there)
More stable fin aid
I have family/friends in Indiana
Kelley LLC

UMICH
Ross is higher ranked than Kelley
Less people at Ross so more resources
UMich is significantly higher ranked than IU: this is impt bc I dont want to do business only, so the programs at UMich would be better
Extreme school spirit, which I love
I have heard really good things
Invited to this “summer connection program”
Residential College

So basically both programs seem fantastic and I would hate to regret my choice. What would you do? If you have been in a similar situation before, what did you do, and do you regret it? I will be posting on both schools’ forums for more insight

Thanks!

U Mich in a heart beat, as long as you can afford if the price drastically changes. Look at how much your financial aid could change and if it’s an option. Even if you have to take out minimal loans, U mich ross beats out IU Kelley everytime.

Finances permitting, Ross.

Note that you may get departmental scholarship in sophomore year and later from Ross if you work hard and have need. UMich has a deeper pocket for financial aid particularly in Ross. Of course, ou cannot count on it in making your decision now. Do you get some grant from UMich too?

@billcsho Yeah, I got a grant, but it is not renewable unfortunately…

Thanks for the input, I have decided to go to UMich!

If your family income does not change much next year, you are likely to get similar grant next year too.

Congratulations!
