Hey all,

I'm a transfer student from a CCC and I got accepted into UCSB. I have already signed my intent letter, and I might fail my Econ 2 class. I'm a communications major with a 3.3 GPA around 63 credits and all my classes have been igetc so Im all good with that..I'm going to call UCSB ASAP tomorrow but what are your opinions or has it ever happened to you??

Thanks!!

If you fail econ 2 you’re basically doomed. try to pass it with a C atleast

Withdraw and take a “W” if you still can and if you’ll still have 60 units.

If you W that may affect your admission to UCSB, your going to have to pull a miracle and attempt getting a C in the class. Try talking to your professor and telling him your situation.

pretty sure it’s too late to get a W dudes

Oh that’s right! In that case… your in a ****ty situation.

Try talking to your professor and make that final push. I basically bombed 3/4(failed 2 ( 59% on Finals…), D on 1) of my test in my calculus class, C my quizzes, but I attended and stayed all the way every class meet. I should of had around a 59-62%. Yet, she gave me a C, never even talked to her.

Unless you missed lots of class time, I suggest you explain to your professor your situation and what you can do to get a C.
