I am a Business Administration major and I am trying to decide between CSU Fullerton and Cal Poly Pomona. Any information would be appreciated!

I would say Cal Poly Pomona has a somewhat stronger student body. As far as the business colleges, Fullerton has a new building with good private connections, but so does Pomona. They just started building their new building a few months ago and should be opening in time for your second year. Business is a broad field with many options. Look into both colleges to see which one suits your interests best. CPPs focus is more on Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Real Estate and International/ marketing. Here are some student stats:

Average Freshmen GPA
Cal Poly Pomona: 3.36
CSU Fullerton: 3.27

Average SAT
Cal Poly Pomona: 1060
CSU Fullerton: 997

Cal Poly’s new building.

Thanks for the information. Cal Poly Pomona is on the quarter system, which might take me out of my comfort zone a little and that may end up being a good thing. I met with an advisor at CPP and she said the new building may take two years to complete. The rest of the buildings are old and out of date. Cal State Fullerton has a very well regarded business program, as well as a new building. It is a difficult decision and I appreciate your comments.

they are both great schools. from what i’ve experienced there at pomona (though I have not personally attended the school) is that there’s a lot more student life than fullerton. Pomona is less of a commuter school than Fullerton and it is a great little college town. Academic wise I would pick cal state fullerton but honestly you can’t go wrong either way.
