So as the title says I am looking in to a masters program in Broadcast Journalism, but my searches haven't come up with anything in canada. I did find an advanced diploma in Humber : Journalism - Print and Broadcast | Humber College Programs Page and I was wondering if the job prospects after doing this would be the same as doing a masters ? I am an international student so my fees also will be higher right ? The board of education in my country for undergraduate schools does not follow the GPA system, so I am not sure how to calculate that. I am majoring in mass communication, literature, and social management and a minor in television production and screening. My board works on percentages and my percentage with my final year left is 68%.

What I heard till now is that schools in Canada require 16 years of education for graduate study, but my course is a 3 year long including the diploma. Will that diploma be counted as an additional year ? Or do schools accept with 15 years of education ? I heard that Carleton does accept students with 15 years of education if the college is graded by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), which my college is.

Thanks for the help!
