I'm currently a sophmore taking Spanish 2, Orchestra, Honors Chemistry, Honors Advanced Math Analysis (precalc), Honors English 10, and AP World History.

My choices for next year are, Ap Calc BC (or AB), Physics, APUSH, Ap Chem, Ap Lit, and APES. The second choice would be switching out Ap Chem for Ap bio.

The things I am unsure about at the moment is Calc bc or ab and whether i should take Ap physics with ap chem or bio.

Also, i have heard that APES is frowned upon by colleges. If that is true, should I switch it out with Ap Psych? Sorry for the wall of text, and thanks

You are two grade levels ahead in math. Doesn’t that mean that you are one of the top students in math who can handle calculus BC easily?

The AP courses in psychology and environmental science may be considered “light” courses by some. Take them if you want, but don’t drop core high school courses to take them. Psychology is fine as an elective social studies if you are taking the usual history and government courses; environmental science is fine as an elective science if you are taking all of biology, chemistry, and physics.

Defiantly want that third year of Spanish, add that to your list. I wouldn’t overload on the hard sciences/math, especially junior year. Your time is finite. For Calc ask your teacher if you are unsure which class to take.

Ah yes i forgot to mention. I will be taking Spanish 3 during the summer.
The 2 schools I am mainly trying to get into are UC Berkely and UCLA.
I’m going to be aiming to become a dentist so i’ll probably major in biology?
