I am down to Syracuse, UMass Amherst, Bentley, American Univeristy. I am completely split on all of these, and desperately trying to find ways to break the tie. I would be a Sports Management major at Syracuse and UMass. At Bentley I would minor in Sports Management, and at American I would major in Business and Entertainment with a SM specialization. If I majored in Sports Management I would double major most likely in business as a safety in case I decide later I don't want to pursue sports as a career. I'm also not big on the party scenes and prefer to rather hangout with a small group of friends, which is why I really like that Bentley and American are close to a big city.

Syracuse
Pros
Sports teams
Sports Management Program
Alumni in Sports
Campus
Easiest school to come to and from home if I need to
Cons
Weather
Pretty far distance wise
Would need to double major
Don’t hear great things about the food
I hear greek life runs the school (I have no interest in greek life)
Bentley
Pros
Campus
Close to Boston
Facilities look brand new
One of the top business schools in the country
Small school (right now I consider it a pro, not sure what I will think later)
Probably nicest dorms out of the remaining schools
Would not need to double major
Cons
Strictly business school
Would have to major in marketing in order to minor in sports management (not that I’m completely against but doesn’t leave much flexibility)
Not the same sports affiliation and focus as the other schools
Not many alumni in the sports industry
Not great school sports

UMass
Pros
Food
Sports Management program (outranks Syracuse in my outside opinion and online rankings)
Alumni in Sports (outranks Syracuse in my outside opinion and online rankings)
Decent school sports
College town
Cons
Campus (by far the worst campus out of all of the schools. I absolutely hate the campus)
VERY big (student body and campus)
Difficult to come home
Would have to double major

American
Pros
One of the more prestigious schools
Very close to DC
Pretty easy to come back and forth from home if I need
Find the courses in the Business and Entertainment major w/ Sports Management specialization more interesting than other schools
Would not need to double major
Small
Campus
Cons
I hear the dorms are dirty (I didn’t find it too bad in the dorm we saw but I keep hearing some have mice)
Not great school sports
Not many alumni in sports
Not as prestigious a sports management/business program as other schools
No strong affiliations with sports teams

Any opinions would be much appreciated, especially from people who are at some of these schools and/or in the same program I plan on being in.

Thanks
