NEED HELP! does the counselor reccomendation need to be submitted by the deadline for USC?

the deadline for USC is today and i have submitted everything and have one teacher recommendation submitted as well but my counselor has not started her part and does not respond to my emails. If it is not completed will my application not be counted?

Best guess is, no. I’ve listened to a number of the admission talks posted online and they say that you absolutely need to submit your stuff by the deadline (answers to questions, essays, etc.). But, if a recommendation or test score is received like a week after the deadline, it’s okay. You need to go into school and talk to your counselor in person ASAP, though. If you’re having issues with being able to see them, you should talk to someone above them like the head of the counseling department or your assistant principal.

USC Admissions is not shy in terms of letting you know what is required. Unless you receive a direct email from your assigned Admissions Counselor requesting a missing item, I would not be concerned. As stated above, the deadline applies primarily to items required from you specifically…
