Will I make the deadline for Dec 1st?

I just completed my online application and am waiting for it to be processed, in the meantime is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Should I print out a letter of recommendation form for my counselor and teacher? and where do I get these? How many teacher recs do I need? I know I need my USC ID to send in these materials, but also, do I need to send anything regarding my test scores, since they were already sent when I took the test in september?

It's Nov 18th, and I just submitted my application at 11:00 PM, I know the dates are based on postmarks, but will I get my USC ID back in time and will my teachers/counselor have enough time to do recs before December 1st?

Thank-you all so much, you've all been so helpful to me so far.

Recommendation form: http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1011/Form4_2010.pdf</a>
SAT/ACT Score report: http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1011/Form5_2010.pdf</a>
Hmmm… did you get an email confirmation when you submitted the application? Was the ID# in it? Can you log in here: https://camel2.usc.edu/ESD/IOL/login.aspx</a> ? Use the same username and password as your application. If you can log in, your USC ID is at the top left just under where it says “Oasis Services.”

If it isn’t there, you can use your social security number or birthdate on the forms where it asks for your USC ID. Good luck!

I received an email that said this:

This message confirms that the University of Southern California has received your online Part 2 application for admission. Once we have had a chance to process your application, we will send you a confirmation letter through postal mail. In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact us via e-mail at admitusc@usc.edu or via telephone at (213) 740-1111. Thank you for your interest in USC. You will be hearing from us again soon.

But has no USC ID. And I cannot log on at the link you provided, and I’m assuming that’s because I used an e-mail address and not a username, so I haven’t been able to make an account there.

Also, Are those the only two forms I need to turn in?

Thank-you so much!

My son actually submitted his part two, but when he went to that “camel” link he still needed to “create an account”, which is a different username/password than his application account (unlike what I’d read here). THEN the system automatically sent his confirmation email to an old usc email he was given LAST SUMMER (during a summer program) and NEVER used.

Took him a while to remember the login, but he finally went to the old USC email and got the confirmation. And this is just for the Application and Financial Aid link (camel) link above. It works now, but it doesn’t seem like it should be linked to an old usc email. Poor S doesn’t even know how to begin to explain the situation to USC tech.

But perhaps, lightja, you simply need to make a new account for the camel link like my S did. It did work.

when I go to the link and attempt to create a new account it asks for my USC ID, which I do not have, because I haven’t received my confirmation e-mail yet =/. I think I’m just going to use my Birthdate/SSN since I’m so close to the date.
