Need help finding a small LAC on the east coast!!

Bard may not have a women’s studies course, but they do have “Gender and Sexuality studies”

[Academics | Gender and Sexuality Studies](http://www.bard.edu/academics/programs/programs.php?id=692221&pid=764),

seems similar, so I would say Bard would be a good fit

Le Moyne College.

Hampshire. You can create your own major even if they don’t have it apparently!

For the hippie part of you, not Dickinson or F&M. Juniata; Bard, Oberlin, Vassar, Bryn Mawr, Sara Lawrence, Union, Skidmore, Goucher, Muhlenberg.

wt h is your math so low? Apply to Bowdoin. It’s a cute, small, (and cold) LAC on the Maine coast and SAT scores are optional…don’t send. If your SATIIs are good, however, I’d suggest sendingf those

Check out traditionally Quaker colleges, other than Haverford and Swarthmore (which are too selective, unless you can bring your scores way up). Bryn Mawr (women only) already has been mentioned. Others include Guilford College in North Carolina, which seems to fall well into the “hippie school” category. If you would consider looking beyond the East Coast, you might like Earlham College in Indiana very much. It does have a Women’s Studies program, it’s in a rural town, the academics are good but it is not too selective, and it is $5K-$10K cheaper than many of the East Coast LACs.

SUNY Geneseo is a great choice.

-Campus is in a beautiful location

 • Academics are challenging but not impossible
 • Talended student body
 • Great sense of community and pride on this campus
 • College is committed to volunteering, service learning and civic engagement and continues to be recognized for its commitment on the President’s Honor Roll For Community Service

And Geneseo also has a Women’s studies Minor.

Women’s studies Minor
[wsminor | SUNY Geneseo](Women's and Gender Studies program at SUNY Geneseo | SUNY Geneseo)

I’ll suggest Skidmore, Marist, Lafayette and even Salve Regina (RI).
Good luck.

I’m checking out all of these slowly. Again, thanks for all of your responses.

is it possible to bring up your math score? because if u do [to at least a 600], you’ll have a much broader range of options.

[Bard College](http://www.bard.edu/)

That’s my PSAT from the beginning of the year. I’ve been working on it the rest of the year, so I think it will be higher on the actual SAT in March.

Yes Geneseo is a great school, but I don’t know if it fits the op’s criteria. When I visited I saw a lot of preppy type students, not that there is anything wrong with that, I just don’t think that is what the op is looking for. Also, here is a thread from awhile back that may have some schools that interest you.
