NEED HELP: Georgetown, NYU Stern BPE, Duke, or Dartmouth

Please help me decide in between these amazing schools! Interested in Econ maybe some Business Courses or similar things. I am an International Applicant.

can’t go wrong with any of them. what are the intangibles that you want in your college experience?

@qwertyzxc‌ to have fun, build a network, develop myself as a person and to something big…

best way to network is to immerse yourself in NYC - but make sure you set up meetings and engage yourself in professional events(in school & out of school) , and join clubs/organizations on campus.

To have fun that is really depends on what you think fun is;
@ NYU Stern - you have the entire to city to have fun. Get an ID go to clubs, bars, restaurants with your friends. There are many events thrown by various student clubs/orgs, frats, individuals - go to these and have fun. I’m never ever bored in the city - there is just too much going on that you feel as if you don’t have time to enjoy it all. Also best school for study abroad programs. By the end of my senior year I will have gone abroad w/ NYU friends as part of an NYU program 5+ times (some of them for free!)

@Duke & Dartmouth - having fun means joining a frat and going to frat parties i guess - I’m not too sure. You should talk to people at Duke & Dartmouth.

G-Town - Mix of both but apparently people don’t venture out into D.C much.

Job Wise - @ Stern even if you pull a bad/mediocre gpa you are not screwed b/c you can rack up a lot of experience & netowork a lot to your advantage. Only the worst performing students at Stern (<3.0 & no experience) get jobs they are not too happy with.

Other schools if you don’t have 3.5+ you are pretty much screwed.

@qwertyzxc‌ I’ve decided to enroll at Dartmouth! Thank you for the advice sir! For me it was just the communal environment that made the click, and I was really interested in having major cities at 2-4 hour distances, within an arms length away. Thanks again!

NP - enjoy Dartmouth!

Thank you for the update! :slight_smile:
and CONGRATULATIONS!
