Need Help in Science Course Selection

Hi all!
I need help in choosing science courses for my HS career.
I’m a freshman in public HS taking Integrated Sci (requirement for my district :frowning: )
I know many of HS freshmen take bio for their science class…

Anyway, my current plan for science goes like this:

9th(current) : Integrated Sci
10th : Biology (HS doesn’t offer any honors class except chem)
11th : Honors Chem
12th : AP Bio
AND Physics in local CC between 11th and 12th

I plan to major in Biology or Animal Science (pre-vet) in college. I am aiming for UW Madison, Purdue, UC Davis, Ohio state, UF, and UIUC.
Will not taking ‘regular’ physics in HS hurt my chances? (planning to take it in dual enrollment program)?

Thank you for your input :)>-

Not at all, in fact reading college physics will look better than taking regular physics at your high school.

No. Taking it DE/CC class satisfies any college’s requirement hot HS physics.
