Hey! I’m trying to get back into college (been on hiatus for a fall semester’s worth of time). I’m wanting to go into camera operation for films/TV studios. I don’t think my ACT scores matter after having been in college for two years already, but in case it does I had a composite 29. Never took the SAT. My GPA is approximately 2.9.
The problem is I’m not sure where to go. I live in Georgia and was accepted by SCAD last summer. I’d like to go to there, but it is costly and at most I’ll be able to have ~30k$ from family. How is financial aid over there, and is SCAD a good school for this? I’ve heard good and bad from the school but I figured it would be best to stick around Atlanta due to how many films and TV shows occur there. Down the road it might help me with getting connections.
I’m willing to move to other states if a school is great enough. The biggest issue is money though, I’d need financial aid after what my family can help me with.
