Need Help on Situation To Improve

I looked at my ACT scores today and saw that I got a composite score of 32.

I got a 33 on english, 35 on math, 31 on reading, 28 in science, and 10 on writing.

I plan to retake the exam in October and my goal is to get a 35 or 36. Could you experts out there offer some advice on how to form my schedule to achieve my goal. Any advice regarding books, prep methods, etc would be great.

No matter what advice anyone gives you, the best way is to do practice tests. You are clearly strong in English and Math. Reading and Science are literally the same sections, just posed in different ways. Do practice tests only for reading and science…they are both 100% trainable. I would def. watch some youtube videos as well. I guarantee you get a 35 if you do that.

Independent study 2 hours a day.

Read and analyze books/passages a lot and learn to subconsciously recognize purpose, theme, tone, rhetoric, comparison, contrast, and etc.

For Science, most people say that you don’t need a science background to do well, but I honestly think that having a science background is immensely beneficial. I took AP Physics C and AP Chemistry the last two years and my unerstanding of the graphs in science has increased significantly.

I have haerd that there is a method in which you do the sections with 5 questions first, then 6 questions, then 7 questions because they increase in difficulty, but I cannot testify to its effectiveness.

Essentially, I think you just need to do practice tests. I recommend Princeton and the red book. I also recomend the online practice tests that ACT releases every year.
