Hey so I’ve been reading and researching all over and I have found it quite hard to find out much about the dorms at Mizzou. I have an idea of which dorms I want to live in, but I would like to know what type of people are in which dorms. I am looking for a very fun and social dorm. I will be rushing for sure and could give two shits about the FIGS and what not. I am an engineering major. So far I am looking at Hatch, Laws, Hawlewood. Someone please let me know what dorms fit my description and wants. It is much appreciated. Thanks!
If you are an engineering major you should choose a dorm that has the Engineering TLC (stands for Thematic Learning Community). For 2015 that would be Hudson and Gillett residence halls.
Well, I thought about that, but its not right for me. I ROAR Monday and I think Wolpers it is!
@jakehassler1, Do you have a roommate? My son wants Wolpers or Hawthorn and would rather not go random, but he hasn’t had much luck on facebook. He’s really into sports and wants to go to the rec center a lot.
I do have a roommate, but I’d gladly talk to him so he’s got someone that he will know around him. Also we could try picking a room near each other. I’m big into working out too and plan to spend a lot of time in the Rec center. What’s his name? I’ll talk to him on facebook. And Wolpers looks like a good choice to me. I ROAR today and I think that’s where I’m going.
