Need Help Proof Reading Financial Aid Appeal Letter

Last semester I enrolled in 3 classes i received two A's and 1 d. As a result of getting a failing grade I received a letter stating that I cannot receive financial aid for the fall semester. I wrote a letter and I just wanted feedback on how I can make it better.

Dear Office of Student Financial Assistance:
My name is Miranda and I am writing this letter in hopes that the decision for Financial Aid could be re-evaluated. I am writing this in the hope that you will reconsider your decision to suspend my financial aid. I would like to begin thanking you in advance for taking the time to read this letter and consider my request to reinstate my financial aid at KKC. I am aware now of the mistakes I have made and am asking for one more chance to show KKC that I can succeed academically. Please know that school is of great importance to me and I plan on receiving my Associate of Science in Information Technology Systems. I managed over a 2.0 grade point average at the end of the spring semester. During the Spring Semester of 2010 I received an A in Sociology Race & Ethnic Relations, an A in Philosophy World Religions, and a D in English 104. I received great feedback from all of my professors. During this semester, spring 2010, I worked really hard to excel in all of my courses. I talked to my teachers frequently and arrived to class prepared and ready to participate. In my English 104 course I completed my class work and homework assignments, I tired my hardest to complete my assignments to the best of my ability. To make sure I continue to stay on the right path I will read each class syllabus carefully to familiarize myself with each instructor’s expectations and grading scale and refer to it when in doubt I will contact my instructor if there is something I do not understand or if I have any doubts or questions about any course materials. If I am having trouble with coursework is any of my classes, I will contact a tutor immediately. I have two more semesters until I reached my goal of obtaining my Associate degree and transferring to a four year college.

Jjust give that one a try, there’s no harm and it’s your future.

The school can’t take away your financial aid without warnings. So have you been on academic probation? Either way, if you really think you can improve your gpa and get that aa, appeal.
Now if it’s ever below 1.0 for any reason, then no probation warning, but straight to a year suspension then an appeal to be re-instated.

The confusing part is you didn’t say you’re on academic probation, just that your financial aid taken away so I don’t know what the deal with that is.
