Hey all,

I've been having trouble faxing my Federal Stafford Loan Request Form the past few days to USC's Financial Aid Office. The FAX number I used was (213) 740-0680, just like it says on USC's website (www.usc.edu/finaid), but I've consistently been getting "communication errors." I'm from the East Coast.

Can I send in the form another way, preferably through postal mail?
It would take only a few days for my form to get to the Financial Aid Office if I did it that way.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Is there a deadline for sending this Stafford fax to USC? We kind of put that aside while getting through things like last week's H.S. graduation and this week's USC orientation. Planned to start working on her loans and such next week.

Just want to make sure I don't need to panic or anything (grin)!

Where do you find these forms? Are they mailed to you or do you have to get them yourself?

That is a great link...how do you know which forms you need to fill out and submit...I know in my financial aid package I was given a Stafford loan and Perkins loan...now how do I go about receiving the money?

When are these due? I thought they weren't due until when we actually started school, because ok, being a ditz I thought the financial office was supposed to help us out with filling out the forms? hm... guess not. Anyway, I emailed the FinAid office for the forms, and they're all on the website.

Nevermind...I found what I needed on the site...and no dnsrditzx22, there is no deadline that I could find but the sooner you get them in the sooner they can continue to process your aid...(one less thing to worry about :)..)
